The Citizen CX-02 is proven in the market for both print quality and reliability. The CX-02S model is an enhanced version of CX-02, designed to cope with the rigours of printing self-adhesive media (sticker media).
The adhesive media has been designed to adhere to most substrates with minimal rippling (trapped air), so it’s great for a multitude of different applications including; school year books, scrapbooks, wall stickers etc. Unlike some competitor models, CX-02S carries a full 2 year warranty, so you can operate your printer without the worry of unscheduled maintenance and costs.
The CX-02S also supports sticker media.
Sleep mode function was added to keep electric power during standby under 0.5W. Standby electric power is reduced by 98% compared with the conventional model.
While inheriting the style of media loading of a conventional CX model, this printer is improved and makes paper loading even easier.
A graphic display of the number of printable sheets allows checking of the remaining amount of media at a single glance.
One of the world’s compact dye sublimation printers that can hold 400 screens of printing media. A compact printer, the volume of space it occupies is approximately 85% of that of a conventional CX model.
The weight of a CX-02 printer is 12kg (media excluded). This printer is 2kg lighter than the conventional model.
The height and depth of the CX-02 printer are the same as those of the conventional CX model. The printer can be easily installed side-by-side with the conventional model.
The ribbon is rewound after printing an odd number of L and PC size sheets, allowing printing that doesn’t waste the 2L and 2PC media.
Change the printing size freely between 6 x 2 and 6 × 8. (Supported by SDK)
With newly developed firmware, an even smoother printing gradation compared to conventional models has been made possible.
Even during continuous printing, the printer’s mechanical structure minimizes time delay from a hot head.
Since all operations can be conducted from the front, ordinary maintenance can be easily conducted without removing the printer from the kiosk setup. Furthermore, by utilizing paper auto-loading within the kiosk setup, usability has been significantly improved.
